Ok, er kann zwar den Speed gehen und es vielleicht was höher schrauben... Aber er kommt in keinster Weise an nen Lombardo ran, wo in jedem Fill trotz des Speeds noch sowas wie ne Seele drin steckt... Nem Lombardo kann diesbezüglich niemand das Wasser reichen...!!! Die Arbeit von Bostaph auf Divine Intervention is auch ohne Zweifel top... Aber so jemand hier, der nur auf Speed aus ist und ohne Seele spielt, der passt einfach nicht... Sdelbst bei ner Band wie Slayer, die damals ja auf Speed war... Aber Lombardo hatte noch ne Seele auf Speed... Die neuen holzen nur runter und das wars... Da können se von mir aus doppelt so schnell spielen können... Das isses aber nicht... Punkt...!!!

With all due respect to Paul Bostaph, Proscriptor of ABSU is miles ahead of Paul, Proscriptor is insanely energetic and technically more efficient. I don't think he suits to play for slayer but with him slayer would sound more clinical and aggressive than they sound now. Considering the performances of Bostaph in recent slayer gigs where he sounds week and typical; which is a total shame for mighty slayer and an insult towards legend Dave Lombardo !!! Paul Bostash doesn't do any justice to slayer sound, it's sounds purely boring and his drumming is a total disaster!!! Slayer should say Good luck to Paul and should appoint someone like Proscriptor who have the quality and capability to fill the weighty shoes of legend Dave Lombardo. Nonetheless, Killer audition by Proscriptor.

I play in slayer cover band and am a drummer...he is playiny waaaayyy to fast and making up fills every measure...PAY ATTENTION!!!! He is good just too chaotic for slayer...hold the beat and stop speeding it all up,,,jesus,

hes an ok drummer. I think they were looking for someone to add a lil bit of style instead of just copying Lombardo.He needed to lay off the ride(cymbal) a little bit too.

one reason he may not have made it is his tempo was not particularly steady on postmortem. He may be a great drummer in Absu but he rushed the skank beat parts sometimes and you could almost detect Kerry King looking irritated because of it.

I don't give a shit how good you think the guy is, but he auditioned which means he cared to be in Slayer and for whatever reason they didn't feel like he was a fit and he can be a great drummer but just not what they're looking for. So I just can't fucking stand the little pussies down here "oh he's too good to be in slayer" really well they didn't feel that way apparently and they are one of the Big for you little fucking children, now go to bed before your mommy confiscate your IPod
