The Burning Spear original came out on the Ironside (Studio One) label in 1972 under the title "Joe Frazier", though there is no reference to Frazier in the lyrics. When Sir Coxsone Dodd the producer compiled Spear's various singles into a debut album, the track was renamed "He Prayed". Nevertheless, this widely versioned riddim is still known as "Joe Frazier".
