On 27th November 2013 Simple Minds played a very special concert and filmed it at the brand new award-winning venue the SSE Hydro Glasgow, the first concert to be filmed there.
The deluxe digipak package features a DVD with a 93 minute edit of the concert, two CDs containing the audio, and a booklet containing a selection of beautiful photos of the occasion. The Blu-Ray package, filmed in HD, features a 93 minute edit of the concert unavailable elsewhere, and also contains the booklet of photos.

Totall agree - just seen the 1984 Dortmund clip and my instant response was that the current version is so amazing - those brilliant throbbing opening bass chords from Jed accompanied by Mel's stunning drumming take you so high you never want to come back to ground. Was so lucky to have front row centre seats at the recent Nottingham gig which was about my 13th and Id still go and see them again tomorrow!!! Waterfront is the greatest rock anthem of all time!!!8 years ago

I missed this gig but I managed to see them live in Edinburgh in April for the first time and was that impressed I'm booked up to see them in Amsterdam in November as well as Hydro 4 nights later. Edinburgh was jumping I can only imagine how Glasgow is going to react :D9 years ago
