On 27th November 2013 Simple Minds played a very special concert and filmed it at the brand new award-winning venue the SSE Hydro Glasgow, the first concert to be filmed there.
The deluxe digipak package features a DVD with a 93 minute edit of the concert, two CDs containing the audio, and a booklet containing a selection of beautiful photos of the occasion. The Blu-Ray package, filmed in HD, features a 93 minute edit of the concert unavailable elsewhere, and also contains the booklet of photos.

In all fairness to current music bashing there were just as many crappy bands in the 80's as any other decade, if not more due to so many of them being electro-synthetic clones competing for the MTV one hit wonder circuit. I grew up in the 80's and frankly hated most of the music because it all sounded like over-produced rubbish. Simple Minds however is one of the bands from that decade that's an exception given their refusal to compromise, and just plain being very, very good. Kerr is one of the best front men *ever* to grace a stage.8 years ago
