Off of their album Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. I listen to this on Sundays. For no other reason than it always feels right.

Did I forget to add how magnificent and beatiful were the minds of these 20-something song-writers at the time? It was absolutely incredibl, now that I can look back and compare.

I love to read, and when I finish a great book I wish I could read it again with the same surprises. The verse in this song stating, "And you read your Emily Dickinson, and I my Robert Frost, and we mark are place with book markers that measure what we lost", always brings chills to my brain knowing this is a great truth. What a special two writers / singers with the ability to see life realistically!

A lovely piece of poetry set to music and I for one wish there were more individuals as talented as these two men. They sang about important things in lives we can all share.

this is real poetry. most songwriters nowadays have substituted shock value into their lyrics instead of exquisite imagery and language. you also find more songs nowadays with trashy lyrics that do not really count as poetry.

I love this song and it only peaked around 25 in the top 40. This has one of Paul's best songs.

The sun peeking through the curtains, sitting in a quiet room gathering thoughts, listening to this beautiful song so many years ago. Lyrical & Musical genius...hitting every emotion through this wonderful piece never gets old & remains timeless within my memory. This portion of music remains recorded for all time it has been about 47 yrs. ago that this song was recorded there abouts. Still wonderful & memorable... Live life, love often, & enjoy the music of your time. Thanx & peace 2 ya

If I recall right, in 1966 or so, this beautiful song was largely overshadowed by 'Homeward Bound'... but this is one of my ALL TIME favorites!!! Thanks for putting it on!
