Trying to move on and forget my own stupidity. Sometimes you can't help who you love, I wish I could take it all away because it is worthless to everyone but me. That is the hard part always; being the one who cares, instead of the one who doesn't. She gets to live a full life where nothing is missing, where nothing is to be missed out on; a happy, whole and amazing life where many people love and care for her. She gets to choose, she gets to live, she gets to love and what do I get? I get to try and pry at myself constantly changing and trying to better myself but always failing with thoughts of her falling out of me like gas on the fire. Thoughts that are a total waste and a total reminder of the complete failure to find love in a non-traditional gender role and with a different means of trying to create an appreciation through kindness and truth. It was all a lie and will never be repeated on anyone. By the time she realizes that she chose someone who is steeped in the traditions of patriarchy and grows tired of the constraints her role has created within her she will try to find someone like me who will already have returned to his traditional role and hoped to take advantages of patriarchy. He will have moved backward: unable to fight for truth, equality, love and change alone and never with any support. Especially no love. Because no one is aware or even willing to try something different that challenges what they already know. I am slowly learning that it means living a lonely life where no one is a target to be poked fun at and everyone is a target to be influenced and probably even more put off by ideas that are counterproductive to tradition and hope to instill change. September I will never forget. Join the cause and hate yourself until enough people change and you finally find that one you love.
