Still beautiful after all these years. I have to hold back the tears , and i won't see 60 again.

For all you aficionados of musical minutaie out there: Beverley Kutner (later Beverely Martyn, wife of John Martyn) of ''Stormbringer'' and ''Aunty Aviator'' fame, sings backing on ''Fakin' it'' and, at 2.16 speaks ''Good morning Mr. Leitch, have you had a busy day?'' Do yourselves and a favour, and listen to ''Stormbringer'' on Island Records. John and Beverley Martyn. Put aside the brilliant John, for awhile, and listen to Beverley, whose album it was. She is superb!

My mom owned a copy of "Bookends". I must have drove her nuts . I would sit for hours playing this song and "Mrs. Robinson" over and over.

I could never really bring myself to board the Simon Garfunkel train until I heard this song. Picked up their greatest hits shortly thereafter

Remarkable duo, Vietnam Vet. here, but i was just a few years to young to see them in the Village doing anything live like that...but i did jam on them always, loved almost everything they did, even Paul by himself..liked it all, loved most of it...Peace to all that read this, and please VOTE!!! We need quite a bit to get this wonderful country back, and away from such foolish hands...Love , Rock & Roll, and Happiness....Stay close to the Higher Power!

Whom else can take a good song, get it rolling, dump the clutch, smoke the tires, slam on the brakes, turn it inside out, twist the beat, take an egg beater to the lyrics, throw in some poetry, a good dose of harmony, a horn or 2, great drumworks, fancy but simple guitar toss it in a blender and come out with some of the finest music of the '60's and '70's? This and say "Dangling Conversation" , "Hazey Shade of Winter" etc.! They could take a poem, put it through a schredder and have a hit!

My all-time favorite S&G song--no doubt because it came out of The Greatest Year, 1967, and so wonderfully captured and reflected that glorious time.

Hard for me to say what the top ten would be for S&G, there are so many to chose from. But this is certainly one of the top ones.
