I finally found out what Mary's sister looked like, great but nothing like Mary, Mary was the best looking girl that I ever seen when I was 15. Her twin classmates were gorgeous too. But Betty, no, maybe she had her fathers looks. Don't get me wrong, it is just a matter of taste and Betty looked great. But when you are USED to Mary, no one can take her place. I LOVE MARY WEISS!

Those two very hot ladies flanked to Mary's left and right were the twins, Mary Ann and Marg, Mary Ann died while still very young and beautiful in 1970 of an illness, her twin sister Marg was diagnosed with that awful breast cancer that so many women get in 1994 and left us in 1996. Marg wanted her ashes to be kept with Mary Ann's. I read when Mary Ann died in 1970 it hit Marg very hard which I can only imagine. After-all Mary Ann was Marg's first friend in the world. Meanwhile Mary Weiss and sister Betty are still doing fine. What a gorgeous group!!!!!!!!!

Somebody wrote and told me that that 4th girl was Betty Weiss, Mary's twin sister, if so like Robin and Maurice of the Bee Gee's two twins, but they didn't look like each other, since this happens now and then, why do they call them twins? If Mary's twin sister was a lookalike twin, there is no way I could have missed her. There is only ONE gorgeous Mary Weiss, and that is Mary, but if Betty is Mary's sister I of course love her too, but if a twin, she was NOT a look a like twin! Again, even with these fast moving photo's I could have not missed a Mary look a like.

I can't find Betty Weiss, Mary's twin sister in the pictures! Jamie Reilly below said that 4th girl was Mary's twin sister. Mary didn't have to fix her hair, just beautiful naturally long straight hair was all she needed. You should listen to" Long Live Our Love" by these ladies, I left about 100 comments there. You might think I'm crazy, I was and still am crazy, crazy about Mary Weiss!

If you love these ladies like I do, go see Mary sing "Long live are our love". I left 40 comments all by myself. It's embarrassing. When I was a teen-ager the song dipped into the top 40 songs which allowed me to hear it 2 or 3 times. Gosh did I love it, but gosh did I not know Mary was so kool and gorgeous. So I need other people to leave positive comments so that I don't look like a nut case.

Mary Weiss was a natural beauty, she didn't have to pay a pro to fix her hair. Kind of like Jennifer Anniston, she looked great period. Just grow your hair long, like she did and wash it every couple of days, but no need for silly hair-do's, her long straight hair could not be topped!

Three very hot young ladies, sometimes four, I think that fourth one was a twin to one of the other girls in the group who was a classmate of the great Mary Weiss. Hence sometimes four. I wish I was in their class in New York in high school!

This was only the second song that I heard Mary and her group sing beyond "Long live our love", that I loved.. Her producer had her sanging silly dumb songs that only teen age girls could relate to like "by the way, where did you meet him, I met him at the candy store" etc. Someone from another Mary Weiss or Shangra-la song wanted to know if is this the same Mary that played with Peter Paul and Mary. While no, Lovely Mary Weiss wasn't that popular, she was just as talented. She just had a bad producer who didn't see the gem he had in Mary Weiss and as a result blew her chance to be a house hold name.
