Nahh.. Love MacGowan but you can't bash Nick Cave, thei're both amazing songwriters. The thing is that Shane MacGowan's voice is so "ordinary" and has a soreness that not even Tom Waits can copy, so it makes the song easier to relate to. But Nick Cave is a better singer...
