I remember this song the summer before i graduated high school a great summer for making out with the girls at the beach when we were only teens. Our family used to vacation at Wells Beach Maine and me and my friends met some nice local girls at the beach. It was a dream time that can never happen again , once in a lifetime experience

Great song! An obscure hit from the mid sixties. I have always liked this song.

I have always liked this simple guitar rift in this song. The DC 5 always had good hooks in their songs. Michael Smith had a very soulful voice.

The Surf and Hot Rod era of rock and roll was gone too fast; thrilled to have been a kid growing up in Santa Monica, Ca. at the beach most every day. I wanna go back.........

This is a beautiful, haunting, and ultimately romantic record. And the flip side was the beautiful instrumental of this song.

In reality, when Sandy's good times were through and she came back to me, I said Phlllltttth. Best decision I ever made.

Oops...sorry the date was July 3rd! After more than 10 years of looking I connected with her online. NEVER give up your dream of finding that "special one" from years ago. Today's technology makes it possible.

Great song. I had a crush on a beautiful, blue-eyed blonde back in the late '60s n her name was Sandy. She looked so much like CeCe Frey it's amazing--she's her double. Seeing her on X Factor was like seeing Sandy again.
