I'm humored by the fact that people actually call artists wanna-be's of other artists. Because, of course, artists are to be, in every way, different from one another and any inkling of them sounding like another is blasphemous in the name of music.I swear. I mean, if you look deep enough, you can find that an artists sounds like twenty other artists. That's utterly beside the point. Perhaps they sound better in this style of music rather than another, perhaps they find it more comfortable or prefer more than what they could do. Honestly, why do we care? Why do you find it necessary to compare them when all you should really do is listen to the damn music because the music...The music is all that matters.

I just saw the title, and automatically thought of "Battle of the Labyrinth" by Rick Riordan. Pretty good song(:

But that's a difference in taste more than what's actually there. I can certainly agree that San Fermin tends to have more focused, pop-oriented tracks, but the sound is EXTREMELY reminiscent of Stevens' music, nonetheless.

difference is Stevens has never caught my attention like San Fermin has, not to discourage Stevens's music but you can't just say its the same exact music

This is really good, but so heavily influenced by Stevens that it's impossible not to feel as though it is derivative. This may as well be Stevens' band backing a Matt Berninger wannabe.
