I don’t know what it is, but something about this song just hits me right in the heart. The only other song that hits me like this is Baby Blue at the end of Breaking Bad. Thank god I have these songs to remind me what emotions are like. And alcohol. Thank god for alcohol.

I am someone who does like to know the writer's meaning of the songs they write, but, that does not mean that it is 'right.' When it comes to music, there is no right or wrong interpretation. What you derive from the song is what the song means... to you. I mean, I'm sure there'd be people who would be like, "I got from this song that unicorns will save humanity" just to try to be smartasses and funny. That, however, is not what they would derive from this. The human mind subconsciously tries to interpret what we hear rationally, so, that's complete beside the point.Do not say that someone's interpretation is wrong just because you derived something different from the song or because you have read or heard about what the writer wrote it about. Songs are meant to mean something different to everyone who hears them.
