I totally agree. Saw them in DC around this time. They played for about 20 people on a weekday night in a tiny art space; great show. I like how Reagers's singing works too - those kind of dramatic histrionics over simple, straight-ahead heavitude. Early Misfits did a similar thing with Glenzig's vocals.10 years ago

theres something really special about their first two albums, nothing against the later stuff, but it has such a great unique punkish doom flavor to it , that when you mix it up with reagers over the top metal vocals creates such a cool atmosphere, which somehow went away when wino joined the band,again nothing against wino, but i would give a lot to see reagers with the band again10 years ago
