I may be wrong on that, but as far as I know the most effective push executed by a german division managed to do a bit more than 60 kilometers. 200 miles seems a bit off, as the panzer IV, the most common tank if I remember that correctly, had a reach of 200 kilometers(125 miles) on roads, 130 (~81 miles) in more uneven terrain. Furthermor it had a maximum Speed of 40 km/h(25 mph) or 20(~12mph) in terrain. So, while they were indeed impressive, 200 miles seem a bit over the top.11 years ago

the original blitzkreig, lead by the feild marshal rommel, i think, the thing is they blew through the allies defences so fast, they just kept going to keep up the momentum, breaking the lines of comunication by doing so as whenever an order came from command, the division had allready moved on, thus earning the name "ghost division" and, as the song says within the first day the pushed over 200 miles into allied territory a feat unheard of tiill then.11 years ago
