I saw him first when Mescalito came out, a few yrs ago not sure exactly the date, but I was floored. Click Thumbs UP on his music more - he sure deserves it!! One of a kind, no doubt! People like him and Jamey Johnson are waaay too good for the Country Music Awards, they seem to have the same packaged people all the time.
