This whole 1989 CD is just stunning!  And Mr Whitford is right - Ryan Adams just blew the industry's mind in a GOOD way! Well Done, Ryan. These are great songs. And the ironic compliment is beautiful and yet biting. Stunning CD from an American treasure by the name of Ryan Adams.

The irony is stinging and beautiful here -  what a ballsy thing to do at this stage of his career! But what has always been so cool about Ryan is he understands good songs - and boy - tongue in cheek or not - he absolutely delivers here. On a scale of 10  - its a frikin 11. Home run Ryan! Thanks for being such a authentic artist who has NO fear of the industry powers. You ae a hero.
