Another great song from another great album. Red Lenses is from Rush's 1984 album Grace Under Pressure. On the lyric sheet of this song it's written as "red lenses", And the lyrics for this song are written in lowercase and alternate between red and black.

Well, I still don't like it much but it's better than I remember it being. Otherwise an exceptionally fantastic album.

This tune sounded like somekind of jam session experiment, and yet, was extraordinary, none the less.

This is probably the worst song Rush ever wrote I dont know why so many people like it?? Between The Wheels and Red Sector A are much better than this!!

What makes you think he isn't already Christian? And if not, WHO CARES? Believe what you will and leave others to believe as they will. And fear of anything, living in the shadow of ANYTHING, is no true life. Believe what you will, and don't go through life waiting for death. Live while you're alive. I think if you were a true Rush fan and listened to any of their lyrics, you'd know that.

Yes, I think you're right. I have a good friend who's religious, and she's one of the most intelligent people I know. I'm just biased though, against religion, I admit.

Somehow I cant quite relate religion to intelligence... What would you say if I said adopting Atheism is the key to real and true intelligence?

Now let The Holy Spirit inspire you to pick up the Bible--the fear of the Lord is the beginning of real and eternal intelligence! And, yes, I'm a Rush fan so don't respond hatefully.

The part that starts at 2:06 is one of the most beautiful parts I've ever heard. This album is such a treasure, much more mature with regards to musicianship and scoring than Moving Pictures by far (in my opinion, better too).

Easily the most underrated 80's Rush song. Actually, a lot of Rush's 80's material is criminally overlooked. It's a shame, because that was my favorite era of Rush.

Awesome jazzy rock song. Neil peart's drums are great. Shades of red.
