This man is musical genius! He is famous about his hit pop songs like "See My Baby Jive", "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday" etc. He was also co-founder of bands like The Move, Electric Light Orchestra and his own Wizzard. But he was much more than just an hit machine for couple of years. He was talented multi-instrumentalist, which you can here in his wonderful Boulders album, where he plays all the instruments. And he had an clear vision to combine rock n roll with many classical and new instruments.

With Wizzard he sadly did only two albums; Wizzard Brew and Introducing Eddy & The Falcons. First one is rather experimental if you compare it to bands hit singles. Main line is some kind of wall of sound, but the songs are from side to side.

This example is from that first album . Somehow rather near those hit singles, but with much more experiments.

I hope owners of the rights want to see this as an honor to this artist, which it really is. And same goes to these random photos, which I have found from album covers and from net.

My hope is that everyone can just listen to this very fine musician. Enjoy!

I think that you can still buy this album on CD, mine is an old vinyl album.

Completely underated talent! How many instruments does he play? Too many to mention. And how long ago was he doing this? i remember when Prince was being lauded as a genius for his multi instrumental talents. He has nothing over Roy!

@posthumanhero...This album is a real gem.nothing has been recorded like it since or will be ever recorded like it due to the poor standard of music in the charts today...imagine Roy Wood turning up to the x factor auditions!!! As for comparisons with `Looking on`..i really like the Roy Wood penned tracks on that album, the Jeff Lynne written tracks are merely commercial breaks i feel.i feel they fitted in better writing wise on `message from the country`.finnmove is right about wizzard brew!

Wizzard Brew was an underrated album. They said it was a bit too bizarre to be a real classic. I think it was great. Roy Wood had those times really a creative peak. Like this track. It is meant to the people who understand a man who knows rock´n ´roll in its all ways and does with it what he wants.
