Frankie Laine, who composed this song with his pianist Carl Fischer, was born on 30 March 1913 - so Frankie's Centenary passed just a few days ago. He used 'We'll Be Together Again' as the closing theme to his 1950s TV series, but through the years so many other major stars recorded the song - including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Rosie's recording is there with the best, and was in fact the first version I ever heard and bought on 78.13 years ago
