My old band played with Mesa Verde, don't remember much about them though. We're still in touch with most of the guys from Archives who were a great band. They're now mostly in Bonehouse who are also great.

This is kind of screamo-ish though. If you look at the early screamo scene (Drive Like Jehu, Swing Kids etc.) they had alot of elements of jazz and hardcore punk aswell aswell as generally experimenting with sound. Rolo Tomassi does this too. Oh, and they screamed on top of that.
