This album and Never A Dull Moment are Rod's best ever work, I was in the RAF loading bombs into aircraft in Oman at this time and have great memories of seeing planes take off listening to this.

There aren't many benefits from getting old... but one definite benefit is being able to have been young when this and lots of others first came out. I want to say I love this one of Rod's the most.. I love it... but then, I could say that about most of his ballads. "I was only joking" "Reason to believe" "You wear it well" and all the rest.. you choose, I can't ;-)

Thank you much for this upload, it was out for a while. Great song from Roddy, the guitars bring it all so well. You have made a 59 yr. old kid happy again. I dedicate this to my buddies from DeWitt Clinton HS class of 1973. Steve Saunders & Jeffery Strotsky may you live 2 see the dawn...all the best from "Hippy John.✌️2 ya.

This has to be listened to with good head phones and your eyes closed and you will feel RS standing right behind you singing, and the mandolin will make you tingle from your toes all the way up your spine...................how music should be felt!

Acoustically brilliant track with the mandolin absolute highlight.... like all good music patience is a virtue and along with Rod Stewart's declaration of love and fidelity the crescendo to this wonderful track is worth waiting for..... love ya !!!
