kinda funny how Lowe and the gang at Stiff records use to call guys like Plant OLD FARTS and corporate rock but given the chance here is the two of them sharing the stage. maybe Swan Song ,their label thought it would be a good idea. LMBO

Funny ending, with Nick Lowe who starts repeating the last line one time too many, which makes Plant laugh 3:34. He actually may got it right, because it should be repeated four times, I think.

I'm not really a fan of Plant's , but I admire his reverence a great deal. Besides being a fan of someone obvious (Tho' still great.) , he's been a advocate for artists many of his fans probably are'nt so familiar with , i.e. Love , Moby Grape , Blue Cheer , The 13th Floor Elevators , The Wailers , Johnny Kidd and The Pirates , Link Wray and so on. His detractors would be surprised to know he listens to so much stuff that had seemingly little or no influence on Led Zeppelin. Of course , Edmunds was on Swan Song , so , Rockpile found themselves opening for Bad Co. , not a good pairing. But , here , Plant and Rockpile fit just fine.

Robert Plant and Bruce Springsteen are the 2 biggest Elvis fans alive. Love them both. I'm sure Elvis would agree.

I just noticed for the first time, it sounds like Nick Lowe lost track of how many times they were do the refrain at the end. Everyone else stops except him! lol Hey, that's rock n roll!

MTV used to show this clip a lot back in the early days. The funny thing was, being as young as I was (about 9 years old), I didn't really know about Led Zeppelin (and my oldest brother didn't have any of their records), and MTV always had it chyroned simply as "Rockpile". So I didn't know who Robert Plant was, I just thought he was Rockpile's lead singer! Sounds ridiculous now, but it's the truth. This is how I first heard Robert Plant!
