Thank you for this one. Brings back memories of a terminated relationship as well as the beginning of a new generation of folk music for me...

I saw them so many years back now 1988. Still BLOWS ME AWAY! The Haim sisters would be great in concert with The Roches.

Where is Robert Fripp! Good song - but it really needs Fripp's guitar soloing to fill the gaps from around 3:15 on. Of course, that's my biassed Prog-rock opinion ;-)

I wish I could have lunch or dinner with them, just once. This tune was my favorite back in the 70's, 80's. So beautiful......

They grow older but not their voices, and certainly not their music - really, they are unique and timeless. I can't get enough of these songs and this is one of my favorites. They always give me a certain feeling of freedom and put me in a place like no other, as if I'm in my own field or something. They impart something in this song that transports the listener.

I've seen the Roches a handful of times and like many of their songs, but of the more serious songs, this is my favorite.

This is the kind of song that would make you get out of the house and get every CD they made to make sure you got this one. It just grabs you and you love it.
