Ooh, good performance but the vid makes me cringe, its like a 60´s accountants convention! In 1995! All clapping along out of time like a pack of performing seals, so straight looking they might as well be wearing straight jackets. And somebody should have told the host that dressing like a frog with boils didn´t make you "zany" even then!

Love R.P. funkin' it up here. : ) One of my favorite tunes of any era...period. Sister Mavis & Family would approve wholeheartedly, (IMHO) as Mr. Palmer absolutely nails this particular rendition. One for the favorite list......easiest choice I've had all day. Thanks. : )

So much sensuality in one person! Oh my God, I'm doomed and my hips get their own life when he sings!

Never seen this before. Great clip & performance. That tv host looks like a cross between comedian Greg Proops & the Riddler from Batman. LOL

I love Robert Palmer, don't get me wrong, but these people are too stiff and boring. They need to just let themselves go and put more emotion/soul into it and dance around and be completely free. That's what music is all about! I mean, dang... Just because you're white doesn't mean you have to be uptight! I'm white and I know how to rock it and funk it out! LOL! Rest in peace, Robert! They did a good job in general, though. :D

the problem with clapping at the start of a song is that you never feel like doing it through the whole song, but you feel like you're letting the crowd down for not being able to show your enthusiasm. better off to just sit down, or dance. i hate that whole clapping in time stuff.
