This is the theme song from the 1964 film of the same name. I concocted this video to go along with it, parts of which I hope you find humorous (mainly the blue screen work used in the film.)

I saw Barbara Eden up close coming out of the Hollywood Palace in 1979. She was a looker, indeed!

Just a note for you. This isn't really jan & Dean singing this. It's Dean Torrence, with Jan & Dean's back up band, Papa Doo Run Run. It was recorded in 1977 for the movie, Deadman's Curve, but ultimately not used in the film.

This movie is on Get TV as I write. I've always like it, cheesy or not and the Jan and Dean theme is awesome.

I remember that I rode my skateboard to the local theater to see this one in '64. I was just a punk kid back then. The theater's manager (who knew my folks) kept my sidewalk plank in his office (nice of him, eh?). Boss in every way. King tone from Jan and Dean. And then there was Shelly Fabres and Barbra Eden ((((((sigh))))))))

That is so cool, you just got to least try it once before you die. Its really hard to explain. I'm gonna check out Moondog, he's knows that stuff.

When I visited Hollywood in 1979, I got a chance to see Barbara Eden up close as she came out of the Palace Theatre. She looked terrific. What a knock out she was in the 60's.

lol. Brilliant mix, clidesplace. There should be a remake with Jake Gyllenhaal, Zac Efron and Channing Tatum. With CGI, they'd REALLY look like they were surfing.
