I did a little fishing after reading some of the comments below; I was surprised to hear that this version owes more than a little to the Peter Paul & Mary rendition in terms of the guitar and vocalisation, but I have to agree with everyone else who's posted, this version nails it :-)

Best version I've heard of this particular song, and, yes, it is one of my favorite songs. I grew up on PPM's version and Gordon Lightfoot's. Their's were excellent, but this one is even better. Didn't Glen Campbell also release a version of this song? If memory serves me well, I think so.
