Agree that PPM did a good version of this, but my all-time favorite is Ian and Sylvias off "Early Morning Rain" - the harmony is top-notch. That said, this is also very good. I will also admit that there may be a bit of "Grew up with that one" at play (vis Ian and Sylvia) . Eva Cassidy also did an awesome rendition of this one...

Major Lightfoot fan here. He's my favourite. Seen him live since i was a child. Now I'm 35 years of age. Became a huge Weller fan through the years. What a thing it was for me to see that Mr. Weller had covered one of his songs. It was like a gift. It is indeed a gift for us all to have these musicians still with us today. And Sonik Kicks tour came to New York. So I made my way and got a chance to see Mr. Weller. Very grateful.
