i listened this music over 100x over years n listening to it now i've tears in my eyes. notice them singing w/ eyes closed, minds connected focused as one ! the lyrics has double meaning, on the surface it is an island that everybody knows but the most important is 2nd deep meaning behind it..this island is a state of mind connected to the tao! there is no other island safer, peaceful, happy, pleasant n god-connected than this (no matter what religion u are)

I think ELP and Yes were the top in virtuosity in the genre, but it is a bit apples and oranges. What do you mean ELP look like impersonators? Of what? They were doing a different thing. Lots of people would call Renaissance impersonators of a real chamber ensemble. Even Steeleye Span isn't a good comparison. Again, it's an experiment. Beauty in the eye...It's all good.

Three words: yep. I was a singer and have some criticism of Annie, but she has other vocal qualities and a certain presence that transcends them. It's no wonder they replaced Jane. A band needs a strong presence up front. Guess Jane became a massage therapist. Kudos to her.
