I recall buying the Murmur vinyl down in the E.village while visiting my sis in NYC. that album and their many others became part of the soundtrack of my youth in the 80's/90's and then into later years. Great memories ;-)

Saw them several times in those early to mid 80's. A wonderful song beautifully played. Brings great memories. Look at all that hair on Stipe!

I was 14 when I saw them on Letterman. I saw Peter Buck with Tired Pony on Letterman just about a month ago. just over 30 years from this first time. Great musicians I miss them together.

Excelente banda. Definitivamente veio para modificar o universo musical, misturando o Folk e o Rock. Autêntica!

Both So. Central Rain and Rockville sound good, but Country Feedback would be the best I think (even though R.E.M. is the only band to deserve such a song like Country Feedback)

i never heard a musician or music described as being "on time and in note" maybe a train can be on time, i think you mean "in time and on pitch"..

Mike Mills is so Solid as a bassist with amazing fills and can do polar opposite harmonies then his bass lines but they both are alway on time and in note. He's a incredible natural at his craft
