I love John Frusciante, but I think a lot of the casual RHCP fans have their heads way up in the clouds. Albums like Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Californication are awesome, but I have always had the opinion that One Hot Minute is one of the most underrated albums on the planet, with Dave Navarro killing everything with his guitar, and that the pre-John era with Hillel Slovak is amazing as well. John played on 5 of their 10 studio albums, so that means there are 5 more great RHCP albums to enjoy for you all.

Flea is one the greatest bassists ever. A genius and to be a genius on bass you really have to be from another world. John was very talented and perfect for the group, but there is a group of guitarists who will be remembered in a hundred years time and I don't think he had that class. Glad they are still going on, they can rock a stadium and very few modern bands can.

Frusciante is one of the best guitarists in time he played New Dawn Fades in 2 voices and sing it perfectly thats something what is especialy and i thing there arent many guitarists who can play this song in this way on a normal guitar

John frusciante made the rhcp full stop. He may not be the mist technically proficient guitarist ever but he is and will go down as one of the greatest guitarists ever. His playing and writing just connects with people on an emotional level like very few others. He understands that sometimes less is more. The rest of the band are great in their own right and Josh is without doubt a talented guitarist, but they will never be the same without John! Its just a fact!
