I agree to the extent that Flea has probably limited his musical creativity due to his commitment to Anthony. I don't say John because I think that Flea and John were super sonically compatible. It seems like (based on interviews and docs) that Chad was never as intimately close to the rest of them like Flea was with John and Anthony.
