The song was written by Donna Summer and Bruce Sudano (her husband) for Dolly, it was about the break-up of Bruce's parents. And although this is a nice version (and Reba recorded it as a tribute to Donna and Dolly who she admired), Donna by far sings it, the best, she never recorded it ... just sang it live.
