The panel of the aids qulit that was used in this video were gay aids victims. Not one panel was a heterosexual.

If I remember correctly, AIDS was taboo in Nashville before Reba recorded this song. And I gotta believe that this song inspired the Red Hot + Country album

It's sad that AIDS used to be such a death sentence. And if you know you have AIDS, don't sleep with people without telling them, that's not fair.

This song NEVER got the airplay that it deserved... I am sure because of the subject matter, Sad too it was a beautiful haunting song

This is one of my favorite songs...the lyrics touch every part of me because it's true...you never know what another person is bringing to the bed with the two of you....

Sorry TINA ALCORN...but do some research...after all of Reba's songs having deep meaning, why would she make a so ng about a girl who dated a dude she "thought was John"??? And if you either read the lyrics or listen to the song, @ 2:36....., she says "now each day is one day thats left in her life, she wont know love, have a marriage or sing lullabies.,,,,she lies alone at night and cries herself to sleep cuz she let a stranger kill her hopes and her dreams"...Get it, one night stand....takes her life away!? Great analogy though! You certainly seem to be simple minded to hear the song and actually make the comment u did so"matter of fact" when you are obviously incorrect. It is most definitely about a woman sleeping with a man once, and dying of HIV/AIDS because of one bad decision! Sad song and so deep! And I totally agree that this song has lacked its due recognition! Sends chills thru my body and I cry when i hear it!

Loved every single one of her hits and music videos since I was 5 and I STILL don't know all the lyrics to all of her songs. This song is still new to me to this day even:D

First album I ever owned was this album. It's funny, as a 10 year old the melody is sad, but at 31 one the lyrics hit like a train.
