Remember this song from Vietnam. A good old Texas boy that had reenlisted back to Vietnam dedicated this song to his soon to be ex-wife. Vietnam 69'

This is a song about doing the right thing and finding out you were wronged. I'm so glad I remember this song. It's been haunting me for two weeks now and i finally gave in and listened for the first time since I was a kid. I now have to start a new life and I for one am glad this song is there to remind people that being wronged doesnt mean you take the blame for their actions.

Phil Fudderman, are you married? Once your partner has cheated on you it is never the same! Do you have any experience in that area? Just curious.

This guy had no idea what it meant to be supportive to his wife. His whole life was about making money. Yes that is important, but maybe if he came home, showed her some affection & told her how much he loved her she would not go looking for another guy.it does bother me that he could not tell her that he wanted a divorce. Again he is incapable of communicating. He better watch out. Maria knows what the business is worth & is probably a gold digger.

Sound sound for an old tune. Didn't even need to put a penny on the record arm. Thanks.

Always liked this song when I was growing up. A sad song - but a sad reality for many couples. I think even more so today. And I like your version Mr. Mark - A nice smooth crisp stereo sound to it. - Thanks.
