The year was 1967. The month was June, and I had just graduated from a small high school in Washington state. Vietnam was going hot...college was about to happen. Summer vacation was spent working for some extra money for school. Work all week and a half day on Saturday, clean dad's 55 Chev up, splash on some "Jade East" and go pick up my gal and drive to the local drive-in theater...suppose to watch the movie "Hawaii"...hope tonight is my "lucky night"...never even thinking about "Now" married to her for 47 years, two kids, several cars, 40 years on the job...retired with grand kids...that was a great time, with great music...and I would do it all again.Thanks Lulu for a great song!

Yes I have seen the movie several times I love it and I love this song and it does bring you back to a different time and different place even if only for a few minutes while you're enjoying the music this is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite songs from Lulu
