I got turned on to this song byway of a smooth jazz internet radio station and couldnt believe it was the same Ray Parker Jr. who was with Raydio in the 70's and singing pop songs in the 80's!! He really turned it around and (although Im really late on this one) this is a jam!!!

Always wanted to see Ray Parker (guitar), Bobby Caldwell (bass), Patrice Rushen (keyboards) and (whoever on drums/percussion) record an album of all instrumental songs together before they die. Would have been interesting to see what they could have come up with given their talent.
