@maxxdroid1975, I agree with you in relation to the CHIC influence on some of the songs on this album but I tend to disagree with your assertion that he copied Bernard Edwards playing style. Ray's guitar playing is the stuff of legend. Playing for the stylistics at the age of 12 In clubs to playing for Stevie wonder, Barry white and the rolling stones all before 1975. I would say he had his own style of playing well, and truly defined before CHIC came on the scene.
