Oh and as for the clown who commented on Ray not knowing the words.. Ray sang this song during his Storyteller tours and the book is merely a prop as the tour was based on his book XRay and included readings from the book, usually about the song he was about to sing....Why, where he wrote it etc...

The 1st time I ever heard this song in 1996 I was actually on Highgate hill ! Ray sang it live on BBC Radio 2 prior to performing it at The Cambridge festival. I knew he was going to be on so stopped my car to listen, remarkably on Highgate Hill.
