The thing is, it's not meant to be an exact replica of Randy Rhodes. If it was bumblefoot would just look like a cover artist, and I know after playing years worth of pretty much cover songs with gnr ( besides a few from Chinese democracy and some older gnr songs he made his own) it feels good to play other bad ass songs with his feels throughout. My honest opinion, there is only one Randy Rhodes but there is also only one Bumblefoot as well. He is an amazing guitar player in a day and age where most people are not. When you sit down and really think of new guitar players from the past 15 years, how many are this good?

Reading the comments below, I thought this would suck. After watching it, I thought Bumblefoot did a great job. It rocked and was tons better than the Crazy Train version I heard with Tom Morello. \m/ \m/

For some reason Bruce Black isn't accepting replies to his comment, first off this is a tribute to Randy why would he be turning in his grave?"Theres a japanese 8 year old kid on youtube who i think is more precise" That might well be true, but you have no idea if what you see is his first attempt of the day or his hundred and first, Ron has one chance to play this piece and what you see is what he did. I have heard lots of Blizzard of Oz bootlegs were Randy isn't brilliant but that takes nothing away from his brilliant recordings, Take a chill pill sonny and stop trying to be too cool for school

Im trying to look for videos that proof this mans "awesome" talent...Im sorry but i can't find it still....fretless guitar, fine...but hes way off alot of the time and i think Randy turns around in his grave another time. Specially in the ending. What IS that?!Oh, and for people starting to feel sore about my comment, its one thing to write your own music, but if you try covering Randy Rhoades you better not pull it off like a joke. That counts for all songs of that calliber.Theres a japanese 8 year old kid on youtube who i think is more precise. He just cant bend strings all that well because of the tentions. But other than that, thats someone i can look up to in the future. Not someone who thinks hes greater than he really fucking is.
