Not even close. I was there. I know the truth. You don't. Stop trying to label everything like a can of soup. Did you know that one of Jeremy's favorite band's is U2? Or what about Journey? Would you consider them emo? I remember when people starting thinking Fugazi was emo...lol Well look in that direction and you will find more bands that are like SDRE not the emo scene.

Oh yes master of the sub genres tell us more about this mysterious band that has said over and over again that they are not emo. This band was inspired by classic rock and post punk music not too different than Nirvana or many other bands that came out of the 90's. Emo came before SDRE. If Jeremy wanted to be associated with the genre he would have said so by now but in fact he has proclaimed the opposite to many media sources and people that I know personally.

This actually is emo... It's a genre. Emo is deep and emotional, it's beautiful, and i dont know about you, but it makes me happy. People just don't know what emo music is really like because of all the people that dress very dark, listen to crappy bands and call themselves "emo", making the music they listen to to be considered emo, although it isn't at. Either way, this song is beautiful. :)
