As Van enters the twilight of his career I am so thankful I have been aquainted with his music. He is one of the poet songwriters of all time. Such an unusual voice, deep and abiding lyrics that will haunt me forever...and there are so many of us who believe he hits so close to the bone on love's heights and tragic ends...I thank God for artists like him...
