I think this is an epic, classic-sounding Queensryche song on an otherwise forgetful album. It's as if the writers (who largely were NOT the band members) said "OK we gave the fans a 'classic QR song that has that Mindcrime-era feel', now onto the next evolution for the rest of this recording". Which, as we know from the crappy albums that followed (Dedicated To Chaos, anyone) this crappy album, turned out to be the beginning of the end for the Geoff-led era of the Reich.

Poison?? :You didn't just put them next to QR, did you? Poison and Crue are in the same cut with Crue being a little better, but come 'on? Poison was just a pop band and kind of a joke. No art there.

what ruins this is Tate thinking he can assume the role of Nicky in th videos... Could it have been THAT hard to get the original guy back and do it right? I won't miss Tate at all after seeing the new lineup. such a shame,, this was so close, but still a near miss. Getting Dio on the album was a gret move, though.
