I think Long Away and You & I are the 2 reasons A Day at the Races is my choice over A Night at the Opera, the sweet Brian May voice and lyrics are such a classy made piece of work, as is You & I. In the years to come, the new generations will discover all the Queen songs, whether they were hit singles or not, QUEEN made music/albums,................not just hit singles,.................and EVERY Queen fan knows this,...............Long Live Queen !!!9 years ago

It's not even the album A Night At The Opera that's overrated. It's just Bohemian Rhapsody. Nobody knows '39 or The Prophet Song, my two favorites from the CD. The only two they know from that album are You're My Best friend and Bohemian Rhapsody... not even Seaside Rendezvous and that's in the Greatest Hits... I don't know. it doesn't make any sense.11 years ago

I love Bohemian, but it gets overplay. I think March of the Black Queen is a better track. That's another amazing album, Queen II. But you are right about why Opera is so popular.11 years ago

Agreed, this album is SO underrated; it gets overshadowed by "A Night At The Opera" because of tracks like "Bohemian Rhapsody" that have become a major part of our popular culture. But yeah, this is one of the greatest albums in the history of rock music.11 years ago

I'll say every single time, A Day At The Races is better than A Night At The Opera. I know, I know, there will many that think they are both brilliant. I think A Night is overrated, and A Day is hugely underrated. One of the top 20 greatest albums of all time.11 years ago
