Kinda sounds like Alien Vampires but with more Trance and futuristic synth. Would not dislike at all.

How does keeping a cap on the dissent of paranoid survivalists help them? It doesn't and even if so, it is not related to under-the-table politics.

I believe your referring to the preppers and survivlist agenda, where by keeping people scared and paranoia constantly, helps to keep a cap on dissent. Thanks to people like Alex Jones and other agents of the state.

The difference between the American dual-party system to other countries' multi-party systems is that you have loads of politicians with different ideologies in the same party. Libertarianism is the opposite of the Republican Conservativism. Only thing the two have in common is support of smaller government. The alternative is multi-party where you have loads of sectoral parties like in Brazil and Israel; They never agree on anything. Good luck with that.

There are still two opposing aspects in politics: the establishment that is slowly assimilating the system to their exploitative agendas, and the legitimate, "underdog" politicians who still intend to change world ethics the straight-forward, old fashioned way. Ron Paul was beyond any skeptic's radar, much less likely of being "controlled". If you are referring to his views on the advancement of science and technology, he is all for it, just not to be driven and controlled by the government.

/watch?v=wm5YDc3OWgM ^Alex Jones' speech from which those parts were taken. Vote this up so everyone can see the awesomness!

was not Ron Paul merely part of the problem? He was a republican - thus an integral part of the deception of fake-political-choice you're talking about. On that point alone I'm not sure how you can justify recommending him. (not to mention the fact that he's a typical anti-science Creationist)

There is no difference in that case. Controlled opposition immerses the public into trickery and deception, and is already adaptive to reverse-psychological questioning. One side may make something obvious but covertly trade off something else.

Here's a major difference: The Republicans lie about it. They say they are for small government, they encourage and embrace Tea Party members. But they are for big government, big spending, mostly on wars and prisons. At least the Democrats don't lie in your face about how they feel about government.
