This is a beautiful song, and one of Pink Floyd's best, but am I the only one who feels a little sad listening to it? Everyone mentions how relaxing and soothing it is, and that's very true, but I notice a sort of dark and tragic undertone throughout the song that makes me more unnerved every time I listen to it (in a good way).

I don't know how Richard Wright could have said (ironically) it was the most boring song he has ever heard. He obviously underestimated himself... I love the atmosphere of his songs, they are psychedelic but so fragile and light and so unique, and at the same time they are ahead of his times. For me his and Syd Barrett's compositions are the best and the most original pieces of Pink Floyd.
