Lyrics:

Ho, ho, ho

It's magic, you know

Never believe it's not so

It's magic, you know

Never believe, it's not so

Never been awake

Never seen a day break

Leaning on my pillow in the morning

Lazy day in bed

Music in my head

Crazy music playing in the morning light

Ho, ho, ho

It's magic, you know

Never believe it's not so

It's magic, you know

Never believe, it's not so

I love my sunny day

Dream of far away

Dreaming on my pillow in the morning

Never been awake

Never seen a day break

Leaning on my pillow in the morning light

Ho, ho, ho

It's magic, you know

Never believe it's not so

It's magic, you know

Never believe, it's not so

[Musical Interlude]

Ho, ho, ho

It's magic, you know

Never believe it's not so

It's magic, you know

Never believe, it's not so

The boy that makes sure that the world around him is the best of the best and doesn't make the things worse than they are and will always do their best with making sure that the world is the best of the best.

In the context of this song "love" is implied with "magic"..it's dreams of things you love. Magic is a beguiling, make you go "wow" kind of thing. Magic isn't truly real, but the feeling of wonder, and feeling like, "This can't be real because it's so amazing," can apply to love too. How many times have you said when falling in love, "I can't believe this is happening, I can't believe I met this person." So it seems magical, right?

"never believe its not love" i would of Loved that to be part of the lyrics. Just my humble opinion and comment. Peace to all.

@music4life3777 Sorry...Leif Garrett. Music that will become only nostalgic, perhaps. It's hard to say w/out not yet being 30 years ahead to see what sticks and what is merely nostalgic. I just know very few songs are grabbing me now, but some do. Just way less than even in the 90s. Donny & Marie, however, I liked a couple of songs when a kid, but they didn't stick either. Elton John, Alice Cooper, the Beatles that I liked as an 8 yr-old have stuck. Go figure.

@oldschoolbx1970 I always say, world history has its periods of Dark Ages, Renaissance, and the Enlightment. I think we're in a kind of Dark Ages now, or at least not the best of times. Maybe a Depression as in 1929-early 30s? Not all lost, but a lot of bread lines. Pop songs seem to be lacking a combination of pleasant melodies and originality, it seems, because there's so few to like. Others that my 10 yr-old niece likes are the equivalent of Leif Garrent, Sean Cassidy of yore & will pass.

@oldschoolbx1970 Yeah, having similar tastes in music is a good way to connect to people and confirm one's opinions on it. It's either that or pizza...or something. (;

@oldschoolbx1970 I meant that Guns' cover of Live and Let Die is a GOOD example b/c Axl's vocals are so different, just to clarify. A scratchy gravelly voice vs. Paul McCartney's. Nirvana covered Terry Jack's 1974 "Seasons In The Sun", which seemed like such a weird poppy choice, but Kurt Cobain had liked that as a kid (so did I) & he makes it sound even more depressing & the music's different enough. watch?v=kO4BF67pvsc

@oldschoolbx1970 Don't follow her but I just listened to it. The annoying thing to me about covers is when it's a straight-up rendition w/ no interesting changes & the music/instruments sound cheesy plus the vocals are not interesting enough to make it sound different. E.g. Guns N Roses doing the Beatles' "Live and Let Die." His vocals are so different. Or adding an interesting guitar solo or interlude. Hers isn't anything special, so why not stick with the original?
