Well, If I spoke English, and a French group sang a lovely song to me in their best attempt at my language....I would be honored and grateful........

Have you found this already? I thought it would be easy, but the only way i found was to google the title and get the lyrics in French, and then translate using the computer (just right click and then click on Translate to English on mine) Such a pretty song, eh?

Silly French. C'est vrai.

I think the song has such a nice sound to it. Instead of criticizing it, the French should say, "look, someone thinks our language is musical and lyrical and worth singing." Their wine glass is half empty.

I remember a French critic complaining about the "irritating vesperal sound of PPM".

Peter wrote it and was justly proud of it. But when they performed it in Paris, the French though his french to be simple and his lyrics childish. Silly French.
