The 1st person perspective of the lyrics and Van Drunen's vocals are an incredibly potent combination; his sound and the lyrics he speaks are so convincing, and that creates a great atmosphere on this record. With that said, the cover is actually very fitting; it's like a promotional poster for some crazy cartoon where the main character (voiced by Van Drunen) is some insane dude in a mental institution, and when locked up by himself, he sees crazy things and hears these instruments in his head.12 years ago
