Lyrics:

Dark middle ages centuries of pain

The appearance of the inquisitions

Religion turned out to be insane

In these times of witch prosecutions

Tortured till confession

Await the execution

Moaning and suffering

Tormented till death on the rack

Hundreds of them were sentenced

for perpetrating heresy

Desperately begging for mercy

But death was only guarantee

Intense excruciation

Unmerciful cremation

Their smouldering bodies

and charred bones are left on the stake

The question of the interrogators

Extorted the false confessions

Broken upon the will they ended

Without even knowing the accusation

Limbs chopped off, viscera torn out

Mutilated venereal organs

Death in the name of the church

Decapitated or quartered

Evil exorcized

Purified flesh

Saved by the stake

Reduced to ashes

Without Thrash Metal all Heavy Metal was death. And there is much more thrash metal today A the time.

I will never understand when someone says that a certain genre is ''DEAD''. what's up with that? I don't need any new good music when there's so many good old bands to listen to. Their masterpiece records never get old to me. sure it's nice when once in 10 years a listenable new album is released but im fine listening to the old classics the rest of my life. even if i got tired of listening to some ''old'' band, then i'd just listen to something else for a while and the magic would come back.

@ThyBibleBasher There isn't really any "technical" Thrash bands to be honest, Thrash is Thrash at the end of the day, used to be (still am) a massive fan, but I discovered Death Metal and have learnt that Thrash is pretty much dead, you can't do much with Thrash, we may have the new wave of Thrash, but they're simply doing what the old Thrash bands did back 30years ago, it's a shame though. However, Death Metal isn't even in it's Adolescence yet, there's still many more paths to travel yet

I'm very sad right now. In my school's auditorium because my teacher isn't here. Sitting in a corner listening to this album through youtube. I can tell you why I'm deeply sad and close to depression, but that doesn't matter. Listening to this album is making me feel much better. Hail PESTILENCE.
