The Beatles never pursued this song as a serious recording to release. When they would play on the BBC they would come in and record songs requested by listeners, which means they would have to learn the song and then record it. This song was never a part of their Hamburg show, or at least, I don't think it was since I've never heard it mentioned as being part of their Hamburg routine. I met some guys in Nashville, when I lived there, who did an exceptional version of this song....
